COVID-19 Information for patients

COVID-19 Message to all patients

If you have symptoms of COVID-19, please do not enter the surgery.

  • a high temperature – this means you feel hot to touch on your chest or back (you do not need to measure your temperature)
  • a new, continuous cough – this means coughing a lot for more than an hour, or 3 or more coughing episodes in 24 hours (if you usually have a cough, it may be worse than usual)
  • a loss or change to your sense of smell or taste – this means you’ve noticed you cannot smell or taste anything, or things smell or taste different to normal

 

Patients who think they have COVID-19 please call 119 for advice or go to a COVID testing centre for a PCR test. If you have had a positive lateral flow test you still need to attend the testing centre for a PCR test to confirm.

If you feel you need to see a GP, You can call reception to make an appointment at the COVID Management Centre on 0115 9784374.
